Firemen

I decided we needed to get out of the house today for a while, SIL called and asked if we wanted to go to a Lunch Benefit for the volunteer firemen in the local area. Deep fried catfish, slaw, hush puppies, Banana Pudding, Iced Tea and all for $6 a plate. Went to a great cause. The fireman and their wives served.
Last night I made a chicken noodle soup with dumplings, carrots and onions, green peppers whole garlic and fennel. That is what we are having to night as I had pleanty left over.
Well I am going to get my Tea and go crochet for awhile, It's cold and windy and misting here, we are suppose to get Ice and snow weds. Well have a great eveing all....I have sure missed ya'll Love Oma
May I be more compassionate and loving than yeterday*and be able to spot the idiots in advance
