Hi everyone,

Update on Trisha...her and Bryce have decided to join her husband in Texas. They will be moving this weekend (weather permitting) until April when they will transfer to Kentucky. I am upset that they are leaving but understand that she needs to move on with the rest of her life. Larry is struggling with it too since we have been very active in Bryce's life since he was born.

Life goes on..................

Morning Mars,

I am so sorry to hear that you will be so far from Bryce because you have been so fortunate to share in his life. If it is any consolation at all, he won't be in the UK like my 2 grandsons. Once a year is just not enough time to see them but it will have to do. Makes me very, very  too.

Love, Maggie

Mars, at least when they go to Kentucky, you should be able see him more often.

I was never able to be around my grandchildren much at all from the time they were born. I do regret that.

Now, I could be around Pam's 2 a lot but obviously a 16 year old girl is too busy to make much time for a grandmother she has never been close to. The 11 year old is easier but he still stays pretty busy with his friends.

Maggie, I do feel for you. I hope it will be different someday.

Im sorry too--Margie---

But as U said---peoples have to travel on THEIR own road of life---

I know seeing Bryce go has to be hard---but there is always the :phone: ---and kids feel so great to chatter with grams and gramps on the phone-- --and sending funny cards too----thats a big lift----

U and Larry can look foward to seeing the family on holidays--even have Bryce for a stay over--here and there--

It will take time---and time is plentiful for U all-- :bigbighug: :pulsinghearts:

I Know How You Feel

Post by Momster »

Hi Mars:

It's hard to see loved ones go far away. Especially when you've had time with them and grown close. Well, treasure the time you did have and there will visits, like the others said.
I've been fortunate enough that my two grandchildren live close and I've been able to be with them as they grow up, but now they are 14 and 16 and don't have much time for Grandma. Just a quick hug and on their way to one thing or another. At that age, friends are the most important thing in their lives.

:bigbighug:

Life can be hard, can't it? But we just have to concentrate on the good things and treasure them.

Love - Momster
