Hi Oma!!
I've been taking the same probiotic for at least a year. I take 2 every morning before I eat breakfast.. It's called DDS-Plus, non-dairy...
When I have to take an antibiotic, I take the probiotic 2 hours after I take the antibiotic and so far I have never had D .. I can't do Cipro or the Z-Pak, but the last time I was prescribed Ceftin and tolerated it very well.
I will only take an antibiotic when my PCP really feels that I should ...
If I have an upper respiratory going on I will let my body fight it off and it can take a good two weeks..
I just think alot of docs are too quick to prescribe them when they are NOT needed....
There are so many types of probiotics out there that it is really hard to know which one to use..
Love
