Mrs. Columbo - Did You Eat Any Peanut Butter Last Week?

Hi Mrs. Columbo,

I know you're a big peanut butter fan, and I'm thinking you're a Skippy's fan, but did you by any chance eat any Peter Pan peanut butter the day your "virus" struck, or within three days before you became ill? This probably doesn't apply to you, but I thought of you when I read it. If you did, and the product code on the jar begins with 2111, that could be the reason why you're sick.

I heard that on the news this morning and am glad I'm a skippy fan. Our family goes through lots of PB!

I dip into Smart Balance---Omega---no PETER PAN--nor Skippy

I dont think it was that-----never even gave the PB a thought until I saw it on TV!!!

It was the Walmart trade brand...Great Value or something along those lines.

I checked our peanut butter and yep, it's Peter Pan with the 2111 number on the lid. I didn't eat any but Jack had eaten about 3/4 of the jar the past few months.. Thank God that he didn't get sick from it..

I checked my peanut butter and we are safe. Every month there is something gone bad and will make you sick, Love Oma
