Prickly Pair's
I was coming home from the grocery store when I saw my neighbor who is around 70-80 yrs old out with his grandson feeding his cows cactus. He burns off the thorns and they eat it. I had no Idea that they are the same nutritional value for the cows as wheat grazer is. So Mike and I had talked about letting him dig some prickly pair here on our land, as we have no cattle to feed. So I stopped and offered iut to my neighbor, Just a while ago he and his son and grandson came to harvest quite a bit of it. There are three partial bales of hay also he can have. There is i shortage of hay around here because of the drought. And alot of farmers had to sell off thier cattle.
Around here we all try and share and help out if possible. I will still have pleantly of Cactus left. Love Oma
