I Love you all

Post by jenilake »

Hi everyone,

I've been a member here for as long as the board has been here.
I was on Sally's old board, before all the stuff happened.

I am pretty shy, Introverted, so I don't post often. When something grabs me or I get angry about something happening to one of us then I post.

I always read, but I don't post unless I think I can help, or pitch a fit!!!

That doesn't mean I don't care about each and everyone of you, because I do!!! I just don't know what to say.

Please excuse me for not being able to do that. I am a very nice person, in person, but I am not sure what to say on the computer.

I had some wine tonight, which gave some false courage to post. I really mean this. You are the greatest group of people I have come accross since I was is High School. I graduated in 1964, so you know I'm getting
up there. It seems like I just went to bed and woke up in another time.

Thanks.

Love you all, Kathyp

Kathy,

What a lovely and heart-felt post! You may feel inside that you don't know what to say, but it certainly isn't apparent when you post. I have always enjoyed your posts and find them to be helpful, interesting, and right on target!

Yes, we truly are a unique group of friends here. I have seen nothing like it anywhere else on the internet. Someone should write a book about our internet family. I'm not kidding. It is unique how we help each other to manage our MC, keep each other laughing, care about each other, etc. I feel like I know many of you as well as, if not better than, some of my longtime friends.

I had to laugh at your observation about how long it has been since high school. Where in the world did the time go? LOL! I am also a baby-boomer, and our generation just never thought we would ever get old, right? How did this happen to US???????

Love :pulsinghearts:

You said, "I graduated in 1964"...........well, I graduated in 1960 and I really feel like an alien in today's world. But that's OK....Today's kids will feel that way too someday, if they live long enough.

I understand how you feel about posting but you should just go ahead and do it anytime you feel a "nudge" to do so. Your posts are great to read.

Hi Kathy...thanks for putting into words what I have often thought. Like Polly, I feel closer to this group than I do to many old friends. My friends are great, but no one understands until they have been through this crummy tummy stuff.

Lots of love...JJ Class of '71

I can only echo the thoughts expressed here and am so thankful for each and every one of you. You have made handling this disease and life so much easier.
