Sally - This is what I want to know....
...how is Miss Abby????? Has she gotten over some of her shelter kitty shyness? I hope so! We've been having quite the time with Molly...poor thing had both round worms and giardia. Thank goodness I've had MC and know how to treat someone who squirts poop at inappropriate times! I've never done so much laundry in my life cause she was pooping unintentionally everywhere! She took her last pill for the giardia this morning though, and seems to be in fine fettle.

I was thinking about Abby also
I bet she's settling in well by now. It's always traumatic for a kitty to make themselves at home until they have checked out every little nook and cranny to make sure it's safe. Emma hid in the closet for a month and took almost a year to come on my lap, but is now completely comfortable and at home and such a curious, entertaining little kitty. She doesn't come on my lap very often, but when she does, I consider it a great honour. Now, Emily, on the other hand, will beg for attention and, as I do a lot of handicrafts, sometimes has to compete for her cuddle time with the project I happen to be working on. She jumps up on the arm of the seat where I am and puts her paw on my arm and looks lovingly into my eyes and that's it - the project gets put down for some quality time cuddles. Such a sweet loving cat. I love them both so much.

Abby is fine. She is still very shy, but that is okay with me. I don't want her to be a Door Dasher the way Marm was. She is a One Woman Cat.
She sleeps on the bed with me and sometime right on my head. That doesn't go on for very long, though.
We have grown used to each other now and she is a great comfort to me.
She is silly, too. Chases a ball down the hall and slides into the wall. She does it over and over again. Not the brightest Crayola in the box. Or maybe sliding into walls is a great thing to do. Who know?
She thanks you for asking.
Lots of love,
Sally

Just be careful with those silly ones. Our Molly was cuddling next to me one morning about a week ago, then decided to chase her tail...you know, you definately don't want to get caught by a tail! Well in the process she rolled off the bed and grabed onto my arm! OWWWWWWY!!!! Not a pleasant way to wake up. The scratch is gone now...just a faint scar.
