Cold hands and/or cold feet?

Post by mle_ii »

Anyone else here have cold hands and or cold feet? While holding hands with someone at church yesterday they made a comment about how cold my hands were. My wife does as well and I've noticed this a lot recently. Anyone else here have this? Did they find anything that helped?

What's strange is that at night it needs to be cold for me to sleep, too warm, like say 69 F or higher and I have a hard time sleeping. In fact within the last several months or so I've noticed that I wake up at night around 3 am every night like clockwork to pee. I feel dehydrated and hot even though the room is cool and my body temperature isn't hot either.

What might be going on here?

Thanks,
Mike

Menopause?

Oh sorry, wrong gender!

But seriously, I always felt dehydrated when I was eating gluten...almost like my body wasn't absorbing the water I was drinking? Although I had to pee more? Maybe I was absorbing it and my body was trying to flush it out.

I've always wondered about circulation too. For example, in the summer my feet will get cold (bizzare I know), but then in the winter if I'm sitting on the couch for a long time, my feet get hot. Of course I usually have slippers or at least socks on in the winter. I don't actually get the too hot while sitting thing as much anymore. I may also not sit as much now that Ihave kids to chase after and care for. Had more time for that when I was single and living alone. And it's been too long since summer for a recent update on the cold feet thing.

Hi Mike

My feet freeze up at the beginning of autumn & don't thaw out 'til spring. They go white with purple splotches & can be pretty painful. Like walking on blocks of wood. Hands do too but not to the extent of my feet. I also feel heat badly. Everyone else will be complaining that the airconditioner is set too low & I will be sweating.

Love

Liz

I'm just too warm all the time. Always want the AC lower than anybody else. No cold hands or feet problems.

This developed with age about 10 years ago maybe. Always used to be on the cool side.
