Harrys` SUCCESSFUl!! surgery

Post by Carol Arnett »

Hello dear people!!!!! As most of you know, Harry had his surgery today and everything went extremely well. The only IF is what kind of Renal Cell Cancer it was and if any of those cells have found another place to live. Only the biopsy will tell for certain.
The Dr. did tell me that he was more than 99% sure that will not be found to be the case. He said the texture just wasn`t right for that to happen. I pray he is right.

After surgery he was in an intensive care recovery room for 6 hours. He is in an immense amount of pain and I just hope with all that pain he remembers that they won`t give him pain meds without him asking for them.

I didn`t go to bed at all last night and we left here this morning at 4:30 and I didn`t get hime until almost 8 P.M. As you can imagine, I am very tired and hope to get a good nights sleep. I believe I can rest more easily now knowing that invader is gone.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your concerns, prayers and love. Love, Carol

Carol,

I'm so relieved that the surgery was successful. I hope you have a good night's sleep.

Give Harry our love when you see him and let him know that prayers will continue for his speedy recovery.

 to you,
Mars

Carol,

Thanks for taking the time to give us an update. I'm glad to hear that the surgery went so well, too. I hope that you can get a good night's rest tonight. You've gotta start taking better care of yourself.

Love,
Tex

Carol,

So glad to hear the surgery was a success. I'm sure you will be able to rest better knowing that step is out of the way and the doc was so positive. I also understand that you'll feel even better when the biopsy reports come back.

Get lots of rest. That's what Harry needs to do too. You've both been through a lot in different ways.

Wonderful news, Carol. I'm so glad the doc thinks he was able to get it all. I think good surgeons develop a pretty good instinct for those things. That was an awfully long day and I'm sure you aren't even recovered yet. I do hope you will take some time to rest before Harry comes home because you will be needed then also.

Thinking of you both.

Morning Carol,

What great news and I am so happy things went well and tha doctor is thinking positive thoughts. As Shirley said, they have an instinct for those type of things.

Hope you slept well last night and that today is sunny and bright for you.

Love, Maggie
