We spent alot of time with a surgeon that does the abdominal surgery procedure to remove the prostrate. I was armed with lots of questions and he answered every one of them. He wants his pathologist to look at the biopsy slides, so Jack called our area hospital while I was at work today and they said they would send them up to the Glickman Center today. Then the surgeon will call Jack after his pathologist looks them over. Probably looking at an April surgery date.
2 day hospital stay after surgery. He'll have a cath bag for about a week, looking at a month recovery time and restrictions. No matter what procedure, laproscopic, robotic, or abdominal, they all 3 are major surgeries and the hospital stay, recovery and restrictions still all apply...
So, one day at a time, until we hear again from the surgeon, then we'll set a surgery date.
Thanks for checking in Barb!!
Love

Yes, I am learning *one day @ a time*

And I know everything will be fine with Jack----
I was speaking with our friend Pete(had the same issues) and he wanted me to re-assure U and Jack that the results will be A-1

Hi Dee,

My neighbor had good results also, and was up walking around the block soon after. I know it is hard not to worry, but there are lots of successes with this.

Have you in my prayers,

Love, Kathyp

Jaco, a parrot in Salzburg, could not only speak but seemed to understand grammar. Whenever his person left, Jaco would say "God be with you." But when several people were departing, Jaco would change it to "God be with all of you."

Hi Dee, I, too, appreciate the update on Jack. I don`t know anything about that surgery but have talked to a couple of people who had it and everything was fine.
Thank you so much for starting the prayer chain. I really appreciate your concern and thoughtfullness. Love, Carol
