Hi Maggie!

It looks like we're both on the board this morning. How's the mouth?
I hope you are able to eat more and are having less pain.

Love,

Hi Alice,

Well I was there earlier and just getting back on. The mouth is healing slowly on the left side and seems good on the right. The right has definitely less teeth. The sutures are the most annoying since I was told they would dissolve and it will be 2 weeks on Wednesday. It is like having a marionette mouth done with fishing line. I got out some very fine scissors on Saturday and started cutting and have most of them gone. They were not dissolving. Still eating soft food and hopefully after a couple of adjustments on the plate and then lining it, all will be well.

All of that aside, I love my new smile. I REALLY hated the old one.

Love, Maggie

I'm glad it is getting better for you Maggie. Do you feel you are going to be able to adjust to the new plate OK?

Hi Shirley,

The plate will take some "adjusting" on the left side but the right fits wonderfully. I had a lot more grinding and surgery on the left side and once they adjust and line I think it should be OK. May have to use Fixodent since bottom plates are way different than tops, but I can live with that. Will keep you posted on progress since it sounds like this just might be something in the offing for you.

Peg, thanks for the smile and glad you had a great vacation. Pictures are great.

Love, Maggie

Maggie,

I don't remember a thing wrong with your old smile! But I'm not happy with mine either, so I guess it's a personal thing in how we see ourselves. Which can be different from how others see us. I mostly remember your beautiful eyes!

Love,
Alice
