Harry being moved
Hi everyone,
Harry is stable, with meds, and they are moving him to a Telemetry Unit tomorrow. He still has the irregular heartbeat.
He was so confused....also hallucinating....I don`t think he knew whether I was there or not today. Everyone assures me this will resolve itself as soon as he has been in a regular room for awhile. I certainly hope so.
I apologize for not being able to keep up with posts but I don`t believe I have ever been so tired in my life. I went to bed shortly after coming home last night and slept for 13 hours. Didn`t even take my meds. I don`t guess it hurt me because I am still here.
The preliminary pathology results show that Harrys` cancer was Renal Celll Cancer of the Papillary type, the Furhman Nuclear scale, which measures the grade showed it tto be a 3-4 and the size was 3.8cm at the largest part. It was cone shaped. Further discussion when he sees the surgeon 4-6 weeks post-op. (That`s according to his PA).
I am wiped out and going to let you people go but not before saying thank you for the beautiful flowers. You sure know how to perk a woman up! They are georgeous and pink roses are my very favorite.
Love to you all, Carol

Carol,
So glad he is stable enough to be moved out of critical care. Baby steps then bigger ones.
I know how awful it is when someone you love is so disoriented. I'm sorry you have to go through that. He will most likely recover when the extra meds he is on are discontinued. Especially the pain meds.
I've seen more than one have a reaction like that from pain meds.
Love, Shirley
