Maggie & anyone concerned about protein

Living Harvest Organic Hemp Protien Powder

While googleing Dee's Hemp Milk, I checked out the above protein powder. It occurred to me that it might be a good way for those who don't care to eat meat to get enough protein.

Just thought I'd throw it out.

Thanks Shirley.

I have been having fish every day and am getting protein in that fashion. I have never been one for powders but will check it out. The hemp milk sounds ghastly to me - I really have no idea what it is like - so the powder sounds worse. Not criticizing just an observation. Being a vegan for so many years and know many people who were, I tired of the extremeists who only wore hemp clothing, shoes, etc. I felt it was carrying the whole thing to an extreme.

However, in the case of MIs and we people eating GF, the hemp milk is a great idea for some.

Thanks and Love, Maggie

HI Again Shirley,

Hold those comments above on the back burner. I just went to their site and obviously I need to do more reading on their products. I like the concept of their shakes and what is in them and also that they donate to the Lakota - a tribe very near and dear to me.

I am going to research more and will next time will write after I do proper research. If I like the idea of their products, it will be the challenge to find them locally. I refuse to mail order. I am done with that part of my life.

Will report back after I read More.

Love, Maggie

Mags,

Good news! I picked up some hemp milk today at Whole Foods. They had all 3 flavors. Will let you know if it works for me.

Love,

Polly

Thanks Polly.

I so want to find the right combination for protein, etc. and to also for one time have Norman visit. I am so tired of the morning explosions and the fact that things just are going nowhere. By that I mean not getting better and feeling a slight back slide. I am determined that this is not going to get to me. However, just eating soft stuff right now is not sending Norman a very nice welcome.
