Harry....One step forward: two back

Harry is back in ICU. He was only out for 2 days and right back in again.
His heart rate is just going crazy and his BP still way too low.

Monday they plan
to do an internal Echo Cardigram ( the name of which I can`t remember)......going down his throat with a camera and a Cardio Fusion. I didn`t know what that was but it is where they sedate the patient then zap them with paddles to try and shock the heart back into the correct rhythm.

I asked why wait until Monday and was told they wanted him to have a couple of more days to finish resorbing the fluid in the right lung. They had planned to drain that with a needle until they found it was clearing up on it`s own.

Poor baby, after the last ICU stint he had what they called ICU phychosis. He was very disoriented and filled with dillusions. They told me that would resolve on it`s own and he only had one day when he was completely himself.

Probably won`t have another update until Monday evening. Thank you all again for your prayers and good wishes. Love, Carol

Hope the weekend will go okay and he'll do well with the procedure on Monday. This sure has been difficult--kind of like a nightmare. Good luck and good wishes are on the way.

I so much things get better for Harry!!!! I hope you have someone who is there with you, these things are so much harder if you are doing it alone.
