Hello from m

Post by m »

Hi Everybody,
Just popping in for a minute to say hello. Haven't been keeping up with y'all in the last couple of month, sorry. I'm still searching for a new job, which is really time consuming and exhausting! This weekend and last weekend we did our annual maple syrup festival at work. Today was perfect--in the 50s with sunshine. The sap was really flowing! It always cheers me up seeing sap flow because then I know that spring really IS coming.
Anyway, got to get to bed. I'm on a 12 day work marathon. Ugh.
Take care,
m

That's a marathon I would not like to join, M.

Try to get enough rest during that race - OK.

I'm almost out of Maple Syrup. I'll have to order some before too long. There is a farm not far from our Pa. home that I will order from. They are the best around there.

I've forgotten.....where are you?

Mmmm....maple syrup. It is that time of year...The steam has been billowing from the sugar houses. Haven't heard how the sugaring season is going to be. THey are worried that the sugar content is going to be low this year (I think because of the wet summer we had). Plus, the weather has been a bit weird...we got into sugaring season the last week of February, but then the first week of march was back into winter conditions. We're back to sugaring season, so hopefully last week's cold temps didn't screw up the sap flow. We too have to get out and pick up some more...the bottle is running dry.

M, good luck on the job search. I hope you are coming up with some good leads.

Katy
