A Review Of Healthy Oils, For Reference

Post by tex »

Hi all,

Dee sent me a link to this site, which contains a good refresher course on selecting oils with health attributes in mind:

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

You got me excited for a moment there....thought you were talking about essential oils which I have a cupboard full. You know I make my own things out of herbs, well essential oils are a passion of mine. Love Oma

Hi Oma,

Have you seen this? If you go down the page a ways, there are two lists of 90 essential oils, one alphabetized by common name, and the other alphabetized by botanical name. If you click on any one of them, it will take you to a page with a description of that oil, including physical characteristics, safety considerations, and what it is useful for. There are a lot of other good links there, too.

I hope you find it useful.

Love,
Tex
