While I'm waiting for that video to download on my slow dialup, I have some time to kill, so I have to say that when I first saw your subject line, I thought you were referring to the annual return of the vultures to Hinckley, Ohio, today. LOL.

Morning Kathy,
THANK YOU so very much for a wonderful way to get my day started. The Lyre Bird is such a fantastic mimic and one I would definitely love to have on my Life List.
Our Northern Mockingbird is quite an imitator and may have more songs but the ability of the Lyre Bird far outranks him. The chainsaw call was fantastic.
Thanks Again.
Love, Maggie

I absolutely LOVED it!!
I have actually see the documentary that the clip was taken from. If you are a bird lover it is absolutely amazing. VERY long though.
I'll try to find/remember the name of it. It just enthralled me when I watched it. I'd like to see it again. Some of it is kinda dull but the rest really makes up for it.
Love, Shirley
OK - "The Life of Birds" presented by David Attenborough (the man talking in the clip). Netflix has it on 3 discs and if I remember correctly there are 3 one hour sections on each disc.
Also, it was released in 1998.
