My niece to be (Geoff's niece) has been having bad stomach pains off and on since August. They have suspected some sort of appendicitis, but so far ultrasounds and whatnot have not shown it to be a problem. Well now, for some reason, her mother thinks it happens after she eats a lot of bread. Her mom has fibromyalgia and as far as Geoff and I can tell doesn't do a lot that she could for her own health problem. But it was an interesting observation. She isn't ready to take the full plunge yet though and had a breaded/fried blooming onion when we took her out for lunch on Saturday. From what I have read on gluten, I think Geoff's whole family could do with a trial of it, but I am not really in a position to push it. And as we all know, you have to be ready to try as it's not an easy lifestyle adjustment.
