How odd is this...

Post by CAMary »

SO I've obviously been living under the most tremendous stress of my life the past two weeks - haven't eaten much and managed to drop my "holiday 5" without any effort. Not pooping much either (figured due to not eating much...) So I finally realize I need to go this morning - and WOW - I haven't been this constipated since I was pregnant

I even had a large mocha yesterday (and I've been avoiding dairy the past few months...) - this defies *all* logic

Hmmm - perhaps it's a side effect of the darvocet?

Good question--can't answer that one, but am glad you wrote. Have been wondering all weekend how you're feeling. Sorry to hear about the C, can you take anything to help it along?

Usually Mocha does the trick for me. I'm fine with chocolate (unless I over indulge), fine with coffee, but the combo does help me with C (I had learned that trick before I got MC).

Hope you're feeling better Mary. Stress I think can bring C on too.

Hi Mary,

I got very constipated after my gallbladder operation and I think it was due to the pain meds. It went away after I stopped.

Love,

I too had the big C after I broke my ankle....The pain pills did it! I finally "went" in the hospital after surgery......boy oh boy, I was ringing the buzzer for the nurse and luckily the nurse came quickly with the bed pan....yikes! JJ
