Oma The Herb Lady

Post by annie oakley »

I have had symtoms of IBS and Colitis since I was in my twenties. My Aunt and my Mother both had Colitis. Mother lived to be 88 and My Aunt lived to be 95. I have a heart rythym problem and a Hiatle Hernia. I have been on Asacol (1 per Day) for the last year and a half. Was on four a day. I have occassional flares but ususally get it under control very quckly. I have in the last 6 mos stopped taking my Bentyl for spasms in the gut . I feel that a positive attitude and my diet has helped me to be in a remission like state for the last two years. I have had two C-Sections a tonsilectomy, a lumpectomy (Non Cancerous) have had numeruos pre cancerous lesions removed from hands. I have a sister with colitis , MS . She has a heart condition as well. She had scarlet Fever and I had scarlatina. My blood pressure is normal and I have had one Mini-stroke about 5 years ago. I have arthritis and have had surgery on one knee and need it on the other. Have Bad sinuses ( assume partly from many years of smoking) I quit smoking 6 month ago. Other than that I am happy healthy and ready to Not Give up ever. Love Oma
May I be more compassionate and loving than yeterday*and be able to spot the idiots in advance
