I was just looking at my records and I noticed the following on the small bowel followthrough exray.
"Tiny bilateral pelvic phleboliths are noted."
What does this mean? "bilateral pelvic phleboliths&quo

Apparently it's nothing to worry about. This is from http://en.allexperts.com/q/Radiology-985/phlebolith.htm
"A phlebolith is a small local, usually rounded, calcification within a vein. They are very common in the veins of the lower part of the pelvis, and they are of no clinical importance. When located in the pelvis they are sometimes difficult to differ from renal stones in the ureters on x-ray."
Bilateral means on both sides.
It's very good to look through your records periodically, though--most of the time there are things in there that they'd never tell us, which is funny to me since it's OUR bodies and OUR records!
