Here's a funny

Post by annie oakley »

I was on a call with a customer....I had just put the customer on hold because I was having system issues. It was moving like a snail. So while the customer was muted and could not hear I got frustrated with the slowness that I said way too loud, that I could make cookies and grow hair on my face faster that this page could load. Of course not thinking or paying much attention to my cubicle mates laughing and rolling  on the floor.....I said oh wait as I was feeling my chin and actually felt one of those hairs you get when you get older....when just as my Boss passes I say oh wait I think I feel a couple hairs now. He turned and said that's more than I have. I felt 2 inches tall and real dumb. :bricks: But the lady next to me said that it was funny. Not to make it any worse......I find a tick on my neck while I am talking to same customer. So I pull the tick off while never missing a beat in the conversation.....when Brenda the lady next to me hold up her board (dry erase board, we can't have paper) with the words what is that? written on it. I hold up my board with the words written on it a Tic!.... she threw her board down and moved as far as the headset cord would allow. So There I am crushing a tick between finger nails , talking to a custmore and writing on the board that..."it's ok Brenda!!!!!I have killed the wicked tick. so I had to catch up to my boss and explaine what I meant by the hairs. Foot in mouth. Love Oma
