Christine I was wondering how you control your MC? Are you using diet,
drugs or both?

Roni,
Just diet.. I took Dr. Fine's tests and found I'm MI, to egg, dairy, gluten, and soy, but I'm also now avoiding corn and corn syrup. As soon as I took pop out of my diet, I started feeling a lot better (slowly)
I have taken Entocort in the past but not lately. I have been using Dicyclomine occassionally when I have too much pain to handle, but have run out, so I haven't used it lately.

Hey Roni :)
Yeah, the diary helps a LOT surprisingly. I thought I was doing such a good job, but in actuality, I was allowing myself to have a little something here and a little something there along the way, and wasn't keeping track of all these things that were bugging me. I was actually eating a lot of triggers now, I think. Since removing pop tho, it's gotten a bit better, so unfortunately I think it's either the high fructose corn syrup (sugars) or corn items in general. I guess I'll try reintroducing regular corn (like on the cob) after I achieve wellness. If that ever happens.
Definitely start on a diary for Emily!!! Maybe let her keep a private one? She can write whatever she wants in it!!! And I think it's important to include things like "I had a stressful day today" or "I had a family reunion today" so you know, if things went awry, that there may have been other reasons. Tracking BMs and times is also good. It's helped me to realize just how FEW BMs I have for someone with CC!!!
