Talk abiut rain.....

Post by annie oakley »

I w sin San Angelo today doing all m y errands so I wouldn't have to do any this weekend. WWe were under a Tornado warning sever thunder storms, all that stuff. I needed a boat at one point today, but it stopped raining around 4:30 pm. It's suppose to start up again tonight.

Fellow Texans how much rain did you get??? we got 2 1/2 in just today.

 Sure wish some of that stuff would come out our way. We have a ban on outside watering right now.

Glad you made it home OK, Oma.

Hi Oma,

There were some very heavy downpours just west of us, (including a tornado), but we've only had light to moderate rains here, so far. The best opportunity for heavy rain may be tonight, as the front gets closer.

Love,
Tex

Oma,
My daughter Trisha is in Killeen and said they had tornado sirens go off about 4 or so today. She is overly scared of storms so she called me while watching the sky - silly girl - I'm in Ohio - can't help her here! LOL

We were very fortunate that none touched down. The sky looked very tornatic tho. I am not fond of storms either. I had to break out the Heater tonight, no wonder we are all sick. Love Oma

I hope all are well and well past the tornado dangers.

We came out okay here, but there was a lot of flooding west of us yesterday and last night. It's east of us this morning, so we'll have sunshine in a few hours.

Some of the Farmers here have root cellers or fruit cellars that go under ground with a door on it. I don't have one. If we couldn't get in one we would get to the lowest spot in the ground and hang on. But like Tex we fared fine. Losts of water standing around some flooding but not too bad. Mike plans to put a shelter in one day. Love Oma
