FDA Wants To Relax Labeling Regulations On Irradiated Foods

Hi all,

Apparently they want to allow most irradiated foods to be labeled simply, "Pasturized", thus removing any visual identification that previously allowed consumers to recognize irradiated foods. This plan has been published in the Federal Register, so if you don't approve of this change, you can submit written or electronic comments until July 3, 2007.
