OK--my up-date
Saw GP today-----I have been having some issues and they being that for a long time now---I have lost my sense of smell/taste!!!
The main issue is my fatigue-----which is not unusual but yet much to much sleep to be usual!!! and my loss of thought here and there---which I am not to concerned about----its a good way to get outta trouble--right PIPPI!!!!
Besides that I am having these slight headaches --on the left side of my head---a Tylenol helps ---and it could be all part of the *thyroid* which I am having checked next weeK--which last 2 blood work ups showed fine????
What a thrill to be home--
So GP dont fool around---Saturday I am having a Brain Cat----
And then next week another mammo~~~~ is this the year of the and ----
And then there is a good chance that I will have to see a hematologist in reference to my low Iron----
Maybe this blood workup today might show an increse in iron level???I hope~~~
BUT this is the best----I told GP---*now dont get crazy with my lipid results cus yesterday I had a pint of ice cream(cus it was nice and cold) and 2 waffles for supper!!!! and he rolled his and shook his head!!! Well said I---there is no food in the house---we had just gotten home!!!
So now I will find out if I have a BRAIN----- and if its working correctly----
I should know by next week---
Great to be home---much to do---but FINALLY I have learned---hey--its still there tomorrow so IT can wait----
Good night all/good morning

Barbara-
Well, it sure sounds like you are going in for a 30,000 mile tune up! I think it is good to get everything checked out so you know what is what...
Once you have some answers you can move forward and fix whatever needs needs fixing! The uncertainty is the worst for sure - let's hear it for thorough doctors who order the right tests for follow-up!! The low iron and thyroid can both cause fatigue - hopefully you can get that fixed pretty easily!
Oh hey - the oncologist I go to see on Monday is from NOO YAWK!! I saw his very impressive resume - and he is only 2 years older than I am - makes me feel like I haven't accomplished much in life (he got a PhD and an MD concurrently, played college football and has multiple patents....)
Let us know how it goes-
Love,
Mary

Morning Barbara,
Sorry I am late on your post but we went to VA this weekend and had a lovely time.
It sounds like the 100,000 mile check up to say the least. I am with you on the fatigue issue and just had everything checked and bloods, etc. and nothing came back to indicate why. I have chalked it up to old age but am not quite satisfied with that analysis. However, it will have to do.
Good luck on all the tests and they will find a very, very active and intelligent gray mass in your head.
Love, Maggie

Hey Ms BN....I went in for a 45,000 mi check one time and they told me they couldn't find the ovaries they left numerous years ago while taking everthing else.....Said they just couldn't find them. I asked the doctor if I could have a refund on my surgery cost from then....he also rolled his eyes at me. That was about the time I had a false pregnancy. Those are fun now. Well got to keep the ol' crossed for ya Woman. I am postitive it's minor and all they have to do is check ya oil and adjust the tires some. You know I love ya Barb! Love Calam
May I be more compassionate and loving than yeterday*and be able to spot the idiots in advance
