This is unbelievable. I got an e-mail from the school in Vail and they said the position was now closed. Evidently there was some miscommunication because I was invited by the Chair of the Art Department and now I'm not???? I feel like a poop head because I told everyone I had the interview in Colorado....I am just sick!

I know it's a big disappointment, and I'm sorry for what happened, but after they jerked you around that way, it's pretty obvious that they're either very disorganized, or maybe even dishonest. Either way, you're better off without them.

Thanks dear family. My frustration came out in the form of toilet dreams! hahaha...I dreamed I was at a family re-union and all the toilets were broken...I mean, I sat down and the toilet fell over. Not a good thing.
Tex, you are right about what you said...it's pretty crummy to get that far and then learn the job is closed...major, major screw-up! So....today is another day...my spring break is over and it is back to work this afternoon...TTFN...JJ
I am so sorry that you were suject to a group that was that disorganized. However, as Tex observed, it just might not have been the best place for you and you are better off without them. I hope someone there realizes how hard it must be for someone to get their hopes up and then dashed like that.
I have a friend going through the job finding process and I realize how hard it is for her and for you. Keep looking and you will be highly rewarded I am sure.
