Now Melamine Has Been Found In Rice Protein Concentrate
It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
Oh Brother!!!
Guess pet owners are going to have to start making their own pet food. My BIL & SIL do already. Gets expensive if you have a big pet. They don't. Just a small dog which doesn't eat a lot, but she eats well.
Love, Shirley

I've been following all this closely because my golden retriever was eating one of the canned recalled foods late last year - Nutro Ultra. I got out receipts and talked to the owner of what I thought was a careful boutique pet food store. Apparently we had decided we stop buying that canned food just before the bad stuff hit the shelves. whew.
Yogi was on a big bag of Natural Balance dry food, probably in February and March. He's been to the vet a few times since then for extreme itching and spots. He's on a low dose of cortisone now and doing fine. The doc thought it was just allergies, but he's five and never had anything this bad.
Dang, not Natural Balance! I really didn't want to read that, Tex, but thanks for alerting me. Back to searching for receipts, I guess.
