Hi everyone, I can`t figure out how to cut and paste a message I sent to Oma called "Oma...are you OK" but in that message I pretty much outlined what is going with us. Doing OK and grateful for your support. Love, Carol

Harry and I are both doing OK. He is to have a bone scan and a CT of the chest tomorrow per the Oncologist. The Surgeon said there was no need for any of that but the Oncologist said that one tiny cell can escape and you are in trouble again. Anyway, we are listening to him on this one.

Harry is doing fine except in the stamina department. Can`t walk very far at one time. I`m sur getting all his strength back is going to take a few months.

I have a fine hand therapist that is working with me and I think she is going to be very instrumental in getting my hand back to normal. The first one I had actually did some minor damage that set me back weeks. I had a lump the size of half an egg on the back of my hand for three days after only one session with him. The new one said he was giving me strengthing excersizes instead of stretching exercizes first. Anyway, I`m happy with this new lady and feel I am making progress.

Sounds like things are progressing............. So glad - I know you two have been through a LOT.

Sometimes those therapists don't choose the right therapy at the right time. I went through that myself. The next one said if it's making things worse....don't do it. Good advice.
