Mars,

You're sweet to ask..

I'm feeling crappy, to say the least. But it's mainly to do with my cold/sinus stuffiness, and my freakin period, which came yesterday - GEE, like I needed THAT. This one is more painful than any I've ever experienced, so that's a little worrisome, but I'd imagine it doesn't help that I'm coughing and blowing my nose all the time. My ears feel like I'm on a plane - that popping sensation - only they never POP!!! Feels like my head is going to explode and I've been TAKING decongestants!!!

Oh, get this - last night, I was washing dishes, and my ring (not my wedding ring, thank GOD) kept slipping right off my finger. It barely stays on when my finger is DRY, much less wet - but here's the irony - March 2004, we took a trip to Mexico, and I bought this ring. At the time, it was too small for most of my fingers - BARELY squeezed it onto my pointer finger, which has the smallest knuckle next to my pinky finger - anyway, point being, the ring was too small for me then, and I squeezed into it just because I LOVED the design and Trent bought one too. Now, it's too big for ANY of my fingers (doesn't fit on my thumb quite yet). I had to move it to my middle finger because it was bigger and would hold it on awhile back, but now it slips right off THAT finger!!! I started out at about 125 in March 2004, and now am down to 106, but it appears that I'm losing more than just stomach weight. This sucks!!!

Christine,

I was hoping you were feeling better.

You have lost alot of weight. I started losing weight when I began dieting ( oh my gosh, can't believe it's been almost a year?) and I'm still losing. I was at about 165 and now am at 130. I'm 5'6" and I had it to lose so have not been to concerned but hope my body finds a balance soon.

Weight loss is inevitable on our types of diets, don't you think? We are eating healthy. The extra fat just burns itself up.

Feel better soon.

Love,
Joanna

Joanne,

Probably true, altho I don't feel I'm eating THAT healthy lately.. most of what I've been eating is rice cereal. My body can't possibly put that to work much. And honestly my intake is WAY down from what it was a year ago. I used to have to eat every 2 hours, at least, or I'd nearly pass out. Now I feel like I could go DAYS without eating. I have been taking vitamins, but erradically - I can't seem to REMEMBER to take them LOL.

Anyway, yeah, I've lost too much weight in my opinion. I haven't actually CHECKED my weight in a number of weeks; haven't had the means to. I don't have a scale at home. But I'm 5'1", so I really didn't have it to lose in the first place. BC (before colitis) I was very muscular and running almost daily. Now I can barely make a flight of stairs without gasping for breathe. So I dunno.. I guess I still need to *find* that balance.. but it's a long way off.

I can sure use some of that weight loss diet! LOL

Glad you are doing somewhat better! It just sucks being sick all the time. I hate it when Larry always says - You NEVER feel good! Oh well, time and diet will change that soon enough - might even loose some weight!

Lol, I feel the same way, only Trent never says "you NEVER feel good' he just asks "how ya feelin?". I just hate always answering negatively, you know? I'd like to say "great!" or even "fine", but I'm always saying "I'm alright.. " hesitantly, or just plain "crappy." LOL.
