When I read the article, I was sort of surprised that the correlation wasn't higher, but there were so many categories listed, that the results are spread out so much that it sort of masks the high degree of correlation. When I added up all the categories for thyroid problems, and did the math, it appears that fully 45% of celiacs have some form of thyroid issue. That's pretty high correlation, obviously.
