I just saw this last night. It's not very surprising and is something I think I should check out with my dr. this week when I go in to get the results of my bone scan and sleep test.

Katy,

When I read the article, I was sort of surprised that the correlation wasn't higher, but there were so many categories listed, that the results are spread out so much that it sort of masks the high degree of correlation. When I added up all the categories for thyroid problems, and did the math, it appears that fully 45% of celiacs have some form of thyroid issue. That's pretty high correlation, obviously.
