Update
Hi everyone,
I thought I'd let everyone know that Larry's dad came through surgery on his leg great today. Long surgery - 4 hours and then two more in recovery. We stopped in to see him before we left and he is doing fine. Doc says the bypass' success will depend on his healing. This is the last effort before amputation.
I start my colonoscopy prep tomorrow and the the EGD and colonoscopy on Thursday bright and early. I have to be at the hospital at 6:45!
Storms going through the area tonight and the sirens have been wailing - hopefully just some rain.
Love,
Mars

"Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn't die; so, let us all be thankful." -- Buddha
Mars,
Thanks for the update, and I hope the surgery was successful enough that it will preempt any further problems.
Wow! That's an early appointment. I'll try to keep you in my thoughts on Thursday morning, but it will have to be in my dreams, (because I'll probably still be sleeping, then). LOL.
Good luck with the prep, and I hope the exam goes smoothly, devoid of any of those pesky spasms that prematurely terminated the previous colonoscopy exam.
Love,
Tex
P S Hope the sirens just needed some exercise, to loosen them up.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
