Hi all,
Got home yesterday afternoon. Washer and dryer are running. Grocery list is made. Haven't caught up on all the posts yet, but a little bit. Good luck to you especially, Mary. Oma told me of your decision. And JJ, hang in there! Good grief, your school is weird. And Mike, hope you continue to have those happy mornings.
It was so fun to have lunch with Oma and Mike. It is amazing how we can feel like old friends when we've never met before! They are great folks.
Here is a picture of Oma and the puppies, which she barely resisted. Also a picture from a cactus garden in Nelson, NV. The third picture is an afghan I am working on. Where, you may wonder, is the picture of Oma and me? In the recycle bin!!! Sorry. My hubby is a nice guy, but he's a terrible photographer.
back home

Hello Kathy
Beautiful rug, the colours are great. It must have been wonderful to meet Oma & Mike & get to know them. One of these day I am going to make it up your way, or perhaps someone may travel down under too. I would love to actually meet some of our 'family' in person. I am a bit isolated down here, not like you could just jump on a plane & be there in a couple of hours.
Love the pot plants.
Love
