Dr Fine test shows positive for gluten and casien but negative for soy, eggs, and yeast

Yes there are. I plan on doing a full writeup on everything bacterial overgrowth related, but want to wait until I find out for sure that this is the cause of all my problems. I'm guessing so since I've gotten so much better so far.
So the testing that I know of is either they can take a sample of your intestinal contents directly (but this has a lot of problems associated with it) or you can take a hydrogen/methane breath test. There are mutiple sugars that they use, but he most studied is lactulose.
A good book to read on this subject is called "A New IBS Solution - Bacteria -- The missing link in treating irritable bowel syndrome" by Mark Pimentel, MD.
