Princess has a pink cast!

Visit to the orthopedist - and my daredevil daughter has a broken elbow (not the wrist like they thought!)...the doc saw it on the original x-ray - apparently the radiologist missed it Thursday night - it is a very slight fracture @ the end of her radius, up by the elbow...

So the cast only has to be on for 2.5 weeks - and it isn't in the growth plate, so that is good! She will get it off right before my surgery...so we were hoping to be given the all clear - but I guess an elbow injury seems better (less potentially serious) than a wrist injury for a child...a trip to the ice cream store, and she was happy!!

Will that teach her to not jump off high things? I remember you telling us about her climbing up on a chair or something to get chocolate when she was much smaller

I think you've got your hands full with this little darling!

Hope she heals quickly and isn't bothered by the cast too much.

Yep Katy-

She keeps me on my toes! She has always been a climber....who'd have thought - I've got 2 boys almost to "tweenhood", yet my 4 year old daughter is our first broken bone!

Oh well - the pink will match the costume for her ballet recital!
