Hi Barbara,

I'm sorry that bad things keep stacking up, instead of good things happening. Bad things seem to run in packs, and when they do, good things seem to be few and far between.

I hope that situation changes, and soon. I have to admire your honesty. It seems to be very common for many people to hide their true feelings, but really, nobody likes a phony.

Good luck with your doctor visit, but remember - he's the referee. <sigh>

Luv,

Barbara,

You and I should have our own party because I am in exactly the same mood and frame of mind as you. Just plain tired of all the BS and at the same time trying to do a 5-day work week. I am just getting too old for all of this crap.

Bottoms Up and Cheers.

Love, Maggie

Can I join the pity party and knock one back with you all?? :drinking:

The bad stuff stacks up until the pile seems too high to look over, doesn't it?

The medical bills are starting to roll in, and it ain't pretty....I don't even open the envelopes anymore - hubby can take that stress on - my tank is on *empty*! And we haven't even touched the ER/cast/x-ray bills yet!

My son had a follow-up dermatologist appt for his eczema and to monitor a mole that looks a little "odd". Fortunately, the mole has not changed over 6 mos. - I was honestly going to "lose it" if they wanted to biopsy it - with my luck, I was half expecting it!

My brother *was* doing better - but had another episode of confusion/delusion this past weekend. He will probably have to alter his living situation, as my parents see this as a chronic thing he will have to adapt to living with, since medical tests have ruled out a lot. Apparently there are some not-so-good things adults w/Down Syndrome can develop, including early-onset Alzheimer's, dementia etc. It is depressing. He was doing *so* well, living independently and working for the past 8 years....

*Amuck* is a good word...Maggie - You are amazing to be able to put in a full work week with your health challenges - bless your heart! My tutoring has all but dried up (one is graduating - senioritis, I think! The other is going it alone - I got my call from the surgeon while @ their house and they have been so sweet - but gee, I could use the $$!)

Oh yeah - and I get to miss Elyse's first ballet recital, since I'll be in the hospital having surgery for something I am supposedly "too young" to have. Great.
