Harry hospitalized........again
I took him to the ER, 5 minutes from home, Thursday night with chest pain and abdominal pain. I was so afraid that he had an anurisim in the aorta.
They are doing all the testing but I haven`t had any answers yet. They are thinking gallbladder and that would be a good thing compared to a cardiac event. Have to wait and see.
Barbara, I feel your pain and frustration with doctors. And Tex was so right.......they do PRACTICE medicine. Harry is fond of comparing doctors to mechanics......we`ll try this and if that dosen`t work we`ll look for something else, etc. Love, Carol

Carol,
I hope they come up with some answers pretty soon, and the problem is something easy to correct. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Love,
Tex

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Dear Carol,
My prayers are with Harry and you. I am sorry I have not been here enough lately but just have not been in the state of mind to be here.
Love you and please give Harry my best.
Love to Both of You, Maggie

Carol,
Any news yet? Like everyone else here, I am sending prayers and best wishes to Harry and you. And how are YOU doing? Is the wrist healing? Are you completely exhausted? You must be on "empty" after all you have endured recently.

Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused.
Hope things are well, Carol.
How is Harry doing today - any news yet?
Take care of yourself too!

Good afternoon and thank you all for your concern.
I have some news.....it is not his heart. They have ruled that out via EKGs` and blood enzymes. He had an ultrasound of his gallblader and a CT of his torso at 8 o`clock Friday morning and they still don`t have the results available. I`m ready to go strangle everone in the radiology department. The Dr. that did his surgery said if they had ASSUMED the mass on his kidney was cancer he could have just removed the mass. Instead they kept calling it a cyst. He said they should ALWAYS assume it is cancer then if it turns out to be a cyst, no big deal. In any case, it is the same radiology outfit.
My wrist has healed completely but the muscles and tendons still need a lot of work. I am still going to therapy and doing my homework. I am supposed to go back to work June 7th.
This whole year has been a nightmare.....my head injury, broken wrist then Harrys` surgery and now facing another one. I am having a flare to the point where it gives me no notice. I had one a month or so ago and thought it was apples but now I believe it is stress.
Again, thank you all for your concern and prayers. Love, Carol

Hi Carol
My prayers are with you and Harry also. I was just checking in and sorry to hear the news. I will keep checking in to see how things progress, but it is good news that it's not his heart.
I hope you can get some rest and that flare settles down. It's time for some good things to start coming your way - enough yet!!!.
Love, Momster
