Hi everyone....A few months ago I asked if all of you who prayed would do so for my BIL, Sonny. He had been dx`s with cancer throughout his chest cavity, his esophogus, and lungs.
He got the results of a PET scan the other day and after only 4 chemo sessions and prayers by many, he was pronounced free of the cancer in the chest cavity, esophogus, and the masses in his lungs have shrunken to half the original size. Can you believe it?!!! Yes, I know you can.
He had originally been given 12 months to live if the chemo worked.....now, who knows? My sister said she, Sonny and the doctor all cried together. Chemotherapy has it`s place but I have always believed that prayer was so powerful. He still has a way to go and they are now putting him on oral meds rather than the infussions. I am so happy and am still praying that he continues to have improvement. His words to the doctor were "I can`t die, I have to take care of Nancy". He has said from the beginning he believes he will be alive in five years and maybe beyond.
