Feeling like *crap*
I am such a baby when it comes to getting BETTER--
Since I am on the HYPER meds I feel lousy---
I cannot sleep---can U believe this---I am nauseated---upset tummy--but I can FEEL things changing??
Weird feeling--hard to Xplain---so I wont go there---
Imagine to *feel* an actual body change??? Creepy!!!
But then I have to consider that I am also getting IRON shots too so all combined with the Thyroid meds. I guess I should be feeling something--
Yet I feel miserable----got the shakes etc---
So next week another blood work---and 4 weeks after that another---so I gather by then ,perhaps everything will start to REGROUP!!
Had some advice from my friend---lives cross the street--a retired ER nurse----and she gave me some books to read-
I shouldnt be complaining after reading what Carol BIL has been thru--

Hi Barb!!!
Sorry to hear that you feel like crap!! Hopefully, after your body adjusts to these new meds you won't be feeling like you're having an out of body experience!
There's one thing about some of we women!!
WE DON'T LIKE ANYTHING TO PUT A CRAMP IN OUR STYLE!!!!!!!!!!!
So when we're feeling out of sorts we get a little PO'd and just plain anxious to feel normal, "huh, if there is such a thing," again!!!!
Love
Dee~~~~

Barb...If your tummy is upset haow about trying green teas with a touch of honey in it, or you can drink it without. I use it after every meal and it quiets my tummy alot. They are also using green teas for cancer patients when chemo upsets their tummy. Sorry you are feeling so lousy....Maybe you will catch a break soon. Love Calam
May I be more compassionate and loving than yeterday*and be able to spot the idiots in advance

I hope you feel better soon
Hi Barb:
Sorry to hear you are not feeling well. My sister also had a time of it when she was diagnosed and started meds for thyroid. It took awhile for her body to adjust to the meds and also awhile for the Dr. to find the right dosage for her. She's doing well now, but it's important to keep following up if you feel changes because the thyroid does change and sometimes you need adjustments in dosages.
Mom also had that problem. She was a stubborn old bird, God bless her, and one day decided she was just going to flush her meds. Boy, that was the wrong thing to do, but she soon realized it and decided to be a good girl and listen to her Dr. Once she got back on her meds she did better.
Anyway, I'm sure this will pass and you'll feel much better once your thyriod is under control and your system gets used to the meds.

ps: I'm up tonight too (3 am) - been doing too much and woke up out of a sound sleep - anyway, thought I'd use the time to catch up with you all
