"Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn't die; so, let us all be thankful." -- Buddha
Yes, I have an opinion, but unfortunately, I have to go to work for a few hours, so I'll have to make it brief.
You seem to have a lot of blood indicators of inflammation, to not have any documented inflammation in your GI tract.
Also, wonder why the doc only biopsied the sigmoid colon? That's where you look for UC, not MC. <sigh>
Love,
Tex

Hi Mars,
I don't know anything as much as Tex, but I had biopsies about 6 months after being gluten free, and there was no evidence of MC either. If at any time I eat grains (or dairy or sulfites), though, it's right back. I was pretty frustrated after the doctor told me, because I know I'm not "cured", although the doctor sees nothing wrong with me anymore.
Total empathy,
Marsha
