and hopefully, it won't exceed tropical storm strength. Maybe it will put a dent in that persistent drought in the SE.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
According to my rain gauge we got 3 inches. MAYBE more to come this afternoon/evening. I surely hope so.
We only live about an hour away from Lake Okeechobee (N.E.). I don't know if you've seen the reports on TV about it but I believe the last one I saw said the lake is about 9 feet at the deepest point now, so you can tell how desperate the situation is. It's really sad. 3 inches is a start and I'm so very grateful. I think they got at least double that further south (West Palm Beach or Miami - can't remember).
So, I'm still hopeful that we will get more today/tonight. I think we could use about a half dozen TROPICAL STORMS - just no hurricanes.

Glad your doing the rain dance... love a good rain and hope it continues throughout the season with no dangerous tropical storms.
Visited Lake Okeechobee years ago, saw a picture and blurb in our paper yesterday about the water levels and can hardly believe my eyes.
