It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

All testing is done unless they decide to do an EKG Friday before Jack's surgery..
Instead of the cath being removed in 5 days, now it will be 9 because they only schedule 3 Cystograms a day and those were filled for the 15th. I told the surgeon's assistant that Jack will be ready to punch his lights out by then. Or maybe I will since I'll be the one basically taking care of it, emptying it, cleaning, sterilizing, changing...
But due to what this surgery is for, we'll tolerate a few more days and pray that when we go on the 18th, we'll be told NO MORE cancer.
Tex, the only new thing I found at Whole Foods is a lemonade that comes in a 32oz. bottle made by Santa Cruz... It is very good. I just picked up my hempseed milk, which is cheaper there, some trail mix, my butter, etc.. We were short on time since we stopped there before going to the Clinic..

Dee,
It's good to have all that preliminary stuff out of the way. The extra 3 or 4 days with the catheter is certainly not very good news, though. You would think they could schedule more than three cystograms per day - that must be a very long procedure.
Pardon me for being nosy, but I had assumed that you were casein intolerant when you recommended the hempmilk, but you're buying butter. ???
Also, is that lemonade made without HFCS?
Love,
Tex
