Great basting sauce for grilled kabobs or chicken breasts

Post by Dee »

Make a "mock" soy sauce by mixing :
3 tablespoons of white vinegar
2 teaspoons dark molasses
3/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Then to that add :
1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon sesame oil
2 tablespoons plum jelly
If you like a more garlic flavor add from 1/4 teaspoon to 1/2 teaspoon more.
Heat on the stove on medium for 5 minutes.
Assemble your kabobs with your chicken and favorite veggies, or just throw halved boneless, skinless chicken breasts on the preheated grill and baste with the sauce until cooked thru...
Easy and great tasting.
