The day I had my hand stitched up, they gave me a tetanus shot. Boy am I ready for that thing to "move on". Got up Sunday morning with a LARGE hard lump, aching, hot & red skin.
Here it is Tuesday night and still have a smaller sore lump, itchiness, hot and red skin. My immune system apparently does not appreciate tetanus boosters!!!!
Anyone else happened to notice this reaction. I know.... most of you probably haven't even had a booster since you came down with MC. I know I wouldn't have if I hadn't stabbed myself. HaHa

They ask me all the time at the doctors about a tetnus shot and I keep telling them No. I have never had a reaction like that before, but as you say I have not had one since I was diagnosed either. hope it goes away soon. If not see the doctor about it. Love Oma

I was *way* overdue and got a booster 2 years ago. I didn't get any kind of bump/reaction - but my arm was sore as heck for nearly a week!
It was a pain -but I hadn't had one since 1987 - it's supposed to be every 10 years Barbara - and knowing my luck I'd step on a rusty nail or something!
