Thanks so much everyone!
We had an awesome day. We drove up to a beautiful spot called Shannon Falls before going out for our dinner downtown. The falls are well
worth visiting after the heavy rains have stopped as they are quite spectacular.
On our way back to get dressed and ready for dinner we got stuck in an accident line up - a three car pile up on a two-lane road! Luckily we had a great view while we had to wait over an hour!
Needless to say, it was too late to make dinner downtown, so we stopped at a nice place on the way called the Boathouse. We didn't have reservations, but explained our circumstances and the fact that it was our anniversary. They seated us at the fabulous table after an only fifteen
minute wait, and then our salads were "on us" (them) as we didn't have dessert and the waiter had wanted to give us that. It was very nice of them and service was great.
I must get ready for work (which I am very happy about!).
