hi guys!

Post by CAMary »

I survived! Not supposed to use my arms much - so this will be brief! Everything went very well - they kept me until Sunday when I was steadier on my feet and had better pain control...hope to get the compression bandage off Thursday - that is the worst - get the elephant off my chest! Drains should be out soon too - then I can start regaining my strength....hospital is no place to get rest, lol!

Watching too much bad tv (aren't p. hilton's 15 minutes up yet!)

I'll check in in a few days...

Hi Mary,

We've been wondering how you were coming along. I'm glad that everything went so well, and you're making such good progress.

I'm the same way about Ms. Hilton - I never have figured out why so many people are fascinated by her antics.

Thanks for keeping us informed, and I hope the rest of your recovery goes smoothly.

So Happy to hear you are home Mary and getting the bandages off and the drains out are great news. 2 friends that have had the same thing done said that was a relief for them. Take it easy and don't overdo.

Her 15 minutes were up days ago. Go figure.

Love, Maggie

Hi Mary,

Glad you are home. I remember Mom hating that drain and being very happy when it was out.

No kidding about P. Hilton though. In the Key West aiport on the special's board at the diner, it was written "Absolutely no talk about Paris Hilton"! Too funny. You will always remember your surgery as being durning the time she was being an idiot...oh, guess that doesn't narrow it down much. For me, I rember the projects I was working on during the OJ trial, the Nanny trial in Boston, and I had my first endo surgery the day after the Bush-Gore election debacle.

Take it easy and follow docs orders. I'm sure you'll be up swinging those arms in no time.

So VERY GLAD you are home and felt up to posting. It was wonderful to see your name.

Yes, Hilton's 15 minutes were up the first day as far as I was concerned along with several others over the years that I could name but wont right now.......

Hi CA MAry!

Thanks for letting us know so quickly so that we could stop worrying. Isn't it wonderful to be back home and on the other side of surgery? Take it easy and heal quickly. I know you will!

Love,

Polly

Hello Mary

So glad your op went well & that you are recovering. the drains are a real pain I know. Hospitals are no place to be period. The sooner out of there the better I reckon.

I agree with Peggy - Paris who ??????  :???:  :duh: Beats me why anyone would be at all interested in her stupid antics.

A bouquet for you Mary
