Hosting A Broker's Breakfast in a Flour Plant!!!

Post by MaggieRedwings »

Morning All,

Well I had to set up today and host tomorrow a Broker's Breakfast in one of our properties. Gives the Brokers time to see the facility and lots available. Believe it or not, it is a flour packing plant with their best seller being High Gluten Flour. Must say I don't feel my best right now after breathing all of that. Tomorrow, I will be inside as little as possible - just to clean tables and dump trash cans. Could not believe I was standing there with hundreds of pallets of flour everywhere.

Wonders Will Never Cease.

You gotta laugh at the irony of it all.

Love, Maggie

Wow! That's almost like requiring Superman to hang out in a kryptonite packing plant. Hope there's a conveniently-located place where you can wash your hands.

Good luck.

Love,
Tex

Tex,

You really made me laugh with that one. Yep I can wash my hands in the bathrooms I cleaned this morning. When you do events, no job is out of bounds.

The Gluten-free person washing my favorite room - the loo - in a flour packing plant. Gotta laugh at that one.

Yep, that's gonna be a record that may be hard to break. LOL.

Hope you still feel okay. When Tex said
Hope there's a conveniently-located....
I was expecting something other than "wash your hands" at the end of the sentence! It turned out to be the same room though.

Morning All,

Well they were packing flour yesterday and after the event I had to go home. My breathing was pretty bad, the loo was a necessity and I was really upset in the stomach and sweating profusely. Sat outside at home and did nothing but breathe fresh air for a couple of hours. Feel better today but not something I will repeat again.

Thanks for everyone's concern and if you are GF don't go to a flour packing plant and on vacation I am not even taking the tour of the brewery with everyone.

Love, Maggie
