Hi friends,

Flying out of here in the morning for Minnesota and going to dismantle my computer now so thought I'd make one last post from Alaska, just for fun.

Love,
Joanna

I wish I could say welcome back to the "Lower 48" but my heart is in Alaska with yours.

Safe travels and take your time unpacking. Don't overdo.

Love, Maggie

Good morning from MINNESOTA!

Thanks for your best wishes, the trip went fine, flew Sun Country(excellent service btw) picked up a rental at the airport and stayed with my sister in the cities last night- her husband is out of town so we had a few good bonding hours before heading to bed.

Didn't sleep to well last night, just anxious and excited about seeing my husband after so long and our new home. Heading to Fergus in a couple hours , think it's about a 3 hour drive.

I do have mixed feelings leaving Alaska but we know it's the right thing to do at this time. My folks will be driving over this evening and spending a couple days with us and these are the type of family gatherings we have missed for so many years and look forward to initiating as often as we can in the future.

With Love,
from the lower 48!

Hi Joanna:

Best wishes in your new home. I'm sure you loved Alaska, but it's so nice to be with family. Treasure them as much as you can - time is precious.

I've had a wonderful week. On Wednesday, Lisa, Peggy's sister came for a visit, Friday Peggy was here and we had fun going out for lunch and scrabbling and today my Sister, Donna, spent the afternoon and also scrabbled. Tomorrow I'm taking John out for father's day breakfast and then we're going out to Lisa's for a barbecue. I'm sure enjoying all this time with my family. We spend far to little time together.

My friend, Lois, may be checking out the Board - she has just been diagnosed with a form of colitis (I forgot which one), but I hope she joins us. She needs lots of info and support and I told her this is a wonderful place to come.

Well, I'm going to see if there are any good movies on tonight. I want to just relax and put my feet up for the evening.

Take care all and I'll talk to you soon.

Love

Momster
