She ate it!

I cooked dinner and the new girl ate it! I made udon soup, steamed asian style veggies, and thinly sliced beef painted with Korean BBQ sauce. I will sleep better tonight knowing that I won't starve her.

Hahaha...tonight I'm making hamburgers, macaroni salad and chips. I bought the mac salad in a little container.

Update...she took the wrong bus home from the CC and ended up half way to Mt Rainier! The nice bus driver brought her back and then called me from her cell phone. I was already driving around looking for her..

So my student from Taiwan, called me in my car and I drove over and picked her up. The bus drivers around the Transit Center had been protecting her because there were some unsavory people hanging out around her area. Very nice of them to help her.

So brought her back and fed her hamburgers...she even ate cheese and lettuce on her burger...go figure...she ate some jello salad, but didn't like the macaroni salad. Oh well...she ate a few chips!

I don't feel well tonight...swollen tummy and 99.8 temp....I think I will sign off...have to teach tomorrow afternoon...TTFN...JJ

PS Had my doc appt this morning and he said I looked much better...my white count had been out of sight and he told me again that I came veeerrrry close to being in the hospital. Actually, Friday night I started craving clean hospital sheets....too weak to do much washing.

Take care of yourself. A swollen tummy, and an elevated temperature, are not a good combination. You might not be out of the woods with that kidney infection, yet, or something else might be going on.

This latest *student* surely has U in a *tizzy*

but at least she had a nice bus tour!!!! I hope she did??? but perhaps a little scarey for her!!

It all worked out well----leaving U with a big *sigh* of relief!!!

Oh ya, and her uncle is showing up tonight...he lives in CA.....didn't talk to me about coming...sigh....he's taking a bus from SeaTac to my house...this ought to be interesting! I hope I don't have to haul him to his friend's house.
