interview

Post by JJ »

Hi all......I am so excited....I was asked to interview for the job at the Seattle Art Museum and my appointment is for Friday! Yippeeee....still haven't heard about the other museum interview yet.

My temp is 99.2 at the moment...not perfect, but explains why I don't feel totally right. Someone egged my car last night and threw pudding too...the rear window was open 4" and it went in the back seat and on the side... I cleaned as much as I could, but had to get ready to teach my class. Tacoma schools got out yesterday...probably kids on the loose!

Well, on the interview, and  on the worthless vandals.

Hope the interview goes well.

Thanks you guys! I am feeling more positive this morning...my temp is finally normal and my tummy doesn't feel as swollen. Feeling good for the interview will be a +. Thanks for all the well wishes. I keep trying to remind myself that I won't know if I can run with the big dogs until I leave the porch. TTFN....JJ

Hi JJ, Wow, how exciting to get the opportunity to interview at an Art Museum. I'm hoping that all goes well and that YOU will be the chosen one for the job!

Sorry about the car, I also wish the perpetrators could get a taste of their own medicine but I wouldn't stoop to their level. Hope you get all of the eggs and pudding cleaned up well and that you have no permanent damage left behind. What goes around comes around, so they will get theirs someday....

Best of luck at the Art Museum...

Hi...I am spending tonight thinking about what materials I need to take with me to the interview. Luckily, my school had us do curriculum maps for our classes, so I can print that out. I may also take the syllabi from some of my summer camps for kids.....I don't want to take too much, but want to have enough. I have pictures of my work with kids in a portfolio and all my major gigs with them, so that is ready to roll.

I got a a message form a school in Michigan asking if I would be interested in a 60% art job...that's all they have now. the guy on the phone was really funny and said he figured I wouldn't want to relocate from the NW for a part time job...hahahaha. I need to e-mail him tonight. He sounded nice.....darn wish it was full time. :(

Well, my temp is back up to 99, so I am going to crash for a while before I cook dinner.....my kids in art class were fun today, but wore me out.
